Word to the wise
For all who own one of these:
Acura MDX, weight: 5,732 lbs
If the car's battery is dead and will not start, do not sit behind the wheel with your left leg out the driver's side door and push with the ball of your foot so that you may reposition the vehicle into an open parking spot 80 feet away, in spite of the apparent logic of making it more accessible so as to facilitate jumping the battery. Whereas you may successfully move the vehicle into position, the jump may not, in fact, be successful (whereas a call to your auto club will bring a man with a portable battery charger), and instead you may end up with quite the injury to your thigh, calf, lower back, and general groinal area.
